In mid January, Ford & Harrison filed suit in Broward County Circuit Court on behalf of their client, Performance Air Mechanical against Doolkadir’s long standing client ICE, LLC alleging, among other things, breach of a non-compete agreement between Performance and the owner-brothers of ICE.
Ford & Harrison boasts via their website a 200 lawyer roster with 28 offices across the country but solo practitioner Doolkadir is not swayed. In fact she is quite confident that her clients’ will prevail. Counsel for the co-defendant working alongside Doolkadir is Ron Renzy of Wallberg & Renzy, P.A.
“ICE is a small family owned and operated business. Performance is a big company who hired a huge law firm to file their suit. This is an attempt to flex big muscles on a little family business. I refuse to let other businesses bully my clients around with litigation. So we will be defending the suit,” says Doolkadir.
Doolkadir’s comments echo her firm’s philosophy on giving small and mid-sized businesses access to quality legal representation without fear of Big Law or fear of overwhelming legal costs.
